The main reason you may see leaks in your patio cover is due to your rain gutters or downspouts being clogged with debris. In order to avoid leaks, be sure to clean out your rain gutters on the patio cover at least once a year before the rainy season begins.

⤓ How do I clean out debris from my rain gutters?

You will not be able to reach into your rain gutter from the top of the patio cover, the only way to clear out your rain gutter is to remove the top elbow of the downspout that is connected to the bottom of your rain gutter on both ends of the patio cover and run a hose through one end and any debris will flush out of the other end. We recommend you perform this maintenance at least once a year before the rainy season begins.
